The Tosca olive cultivar was developed in the 1960s by Attilio Sonnoli as part of an innovative breeding program in Tuscany. It is recognized for its exceptional productivity, capable of yielding up to 150 grams of olive oil per cubic meter of canopy. Well suited to semi-intensive cultivation, Tosca combines excellent adaptability with remarkable resistance to cold, drought and humid soils.
Our organic monovarietal Tosca extra virgin olive oil offers a beautifully balanced sensory profile in which ripe, sweet nuances harmoniously meet fresh, green aromas. Distinctive hints of green almond and aromatic herbs are elegantly complemented by delicate notes of sweet almond and vanilla.
Ideal with delicate vegetable soups and veloutés, fresh ricotta, traditional sponge cakes, and light pastries.
